Gyco at Port Alberni judged halter champion
GAUDALI BLACK GYCO (7335)
Sire: Palada Sam Black (6175)
Dam: M M Thomas Chita (5719)
Born: April 14, 1997
Height: 16 hh
Gyco is our stable's foundation stallion. His
friendly, calm, willing, intelligent nature and gentle temperament
combined with his athletic ability make him a joy to train and show.
He has lovely movement and nice conformation.
He passes on his incredible temperament, height and his lovely movement
to his offspring. These attributes make him an outstanding stallion.
There are eight Canadian bloodlines. Gyco's pedigree
includes four of the eight: Ste.-Anne Marquis de Beaucancour, Henryville,
Fox and Lou.
Gyco emigrated from the cold of Quebec to the
warmth of Vancouver Island in the fall of 2000. He has been under
saddle since April of 2001 and has been shown in many breed classes
and in English Pleasure riding classes both breed and open. His
conformation and smooth movement has continuously placed him at
the top of these classes. In the summer of 2003 he began his dressage
career.
In 2004 Gyco was evaluated by Dr. Jean Desrochers.
Where he placed "Outstanding rarely seen" which is in the top 5%.
At the Island Canadian Horse Classic he won Champion Halter Horse.
We do live cover and some frozen semen is available. Gyco's stud fee is $700 pure and $500
cross.
Here Gyco is performing a Level One dressage test in Nanaimo. He did very well last season, always placing high. He received Reserve Champion Adult Amateur in the MICA competition in June. Comment on this YouTube video.
